The Washington County Fair is offering your business a unique opportunity to be part of its Fair Family. The Fair is Rhode Island’s largest fair, in addition to being one of the largest in Southern New England. The Fair runs annually for five days each August. The dates of the 2013 Fair are August 14, 2013 through August 28, 2013. The Fair draws over 100,000 people, from all over Rhode Island and Southern New England, over the course of its five days. The Fair is owned and operated by the Washington County Pomona Grange, a non-profit community service oriented organization. We offer other non-profit organizations the opportunity to raise funds for community services, as all of the food booths at the Fair are owned and operated by local non-profit organizations. The Fair is the vehicle for these non-profits to raise over $250,000 for their community service endeavors each year. The Fair also helps our young people gain knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills through the various 4H, FFA, and Boy Scout events. The Washington County Fair is a family oriented event that provides families with a low cost, safe, and fun environment to enjoy together. It must be noted that no alcohol is allowed on site and that we have 24 hour police, fire, and security details. The Fair has some of the largest names in country music perform each year on our main stage. We also have a large authentic country antiques museum, different motorized events, pulling contests, animal shows, and fireworks. All events are free with admission.
