Head, Heart, Hands and Health! The Fair is Rhode Island’s largest agricultural event, and we are a proud supporter of our local and national 4-H, where kids and teens complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and civic engagement in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.
All 4-H shows will follow University of Rhode Island 4-H rules and guidelines as posted on the URI 4-H website, uri.edu/4h. Shows will also follow all RI DEM animal health regulations. The 4-H shows at Washington County will have the following uniform showmanship classes. Youth entered in 4-H shows and receiving 4-H premiums are expected to stay all week unless otherwise noted.
